We Cordially Invite You To The Class of ‘54—or “The Return of Rock N. Roley”

Saturday, August 15, 1959 at 7:30pm at Maltie’s Falcon CafĂ© & Malt Shop
ROLEY HIGH REUNION TO FEATURE ROCK N. ROLEY

Roley City’s High school class of 1954 celebrates it’s 5th reunion this month with a weekend of ac-
tivities highlighted by a rock & roll concert featuring the class’ most illustrious graduate, Rock N. Roley.
The two and a half hour performance will begin at 3:00 pm Saturday, August 15th and is expected to fill
the Roley City Municipal Auditorium. “Rock has fond memories of Roley High,” said the star’s business
manager, Joseph K. Awaledge, “and is looking forward to seeing many of his old friends again”.
While the Class of ‘54 has much to celebrate, it will not eagerly recall the outcome of the big game
with Lowe Valley. This traditional gridiron battle, the Homecoming Game, was lost by the Roley High
“rollers” 24-21, the first ever loss to the Lowe “Riders”.
Homecoming was also marred for the Class of ‘54 by the tragic death of Becky Sue Lamour, a stu-
dent at Roley High who was killed near midnight after the Homecoming Dance, when the car, in which she
was a passenger, stalled upon the railroad tracks at Back Road Crossing and was struck by a freight train.
‘Rock N. Roley escaped without injury.
Reunion activities will commence at 9:00 Saturday morning with a tour of the new gymnasium af-
ter which Principal R. Anton Ravon will present his remarks.

The Crime:

We arrived at the malt shop a little late and had just started mingling with our old classmates from Roley High when a smooth-talking detective walked in and announced our star alumn Rock-N-Roley was missing.

In addition to our classmate missing....a car was struck on the rail road tracks and there was one known fatality of a man matching Rock's description!

On top of all that, the detective wasn't going to let us leave the malt shop until he got to the bottom of this case!

Good thing the malt shop was fully stocked!

As we ate, some incriminating information was revealed about each and every one of us regarding our relationship with Rock-N-Roley and it started feeling a little awkward in the malt shop........

Next thing we knew it was midnight and a new year!

We all toasted, had some champagne and then made our crazy accusations....

Turns out the classmate that offed Rock-n-roll singer/performer Rock-N-Roley was none other than......
